Sorry for the AFK lately. I was on vacation with family and *gasp* we were staying at a place that didn’t have free wifi!!! Eeek! It was tough to be so… net-less!
Here’s a quick picture I made while on vacation though.
Monday, I head out to Reno for a much anticipated road trip with my good friend, Cody. Maybe this time, Clark and I can finally beat Bioshock.
Still got a few orders, which is good. Looked at how much I made last year, and while it’s not riches, it was more than I expected. If I wasn’t using Etsy money to pay rent for so long and to pay for my flights, that could’ve been some decent savings, or a badass vacation. Maybe this year since i’m out of school and able to get a steady job and not depend on Etsy to get by, I can use the money for fun instead of rent!

A Game Maker game about a cute and cuddly Campbells dwarf hamster.

A simple game made for my sister and brother in law as a Christmas present.
Even Robox’s game got finished! Sorry for the lack of screenshot, but click on the bot to go to the page. I’ve been in a small game and art making frenzy, but am about to go on vacation with family to Pheonix, Arizona. Happy New Year! After that, I’ll be on a road trip with a good friend and heading out to Reno, Nevada. I’m still recovering from that awful cold, but I’m excited to get some of this art and game stuff up and excited for more traveling. Good times! -

BUSY!
Filed under: Personal; Tagged as: fine dining, hostess, live music, manhattan supper club, new job, oc, orange county, pianist Kim Le, restaurantNo CommentsI have been busy busy busy. I got a job as a hostess at my new favorite restaurant and place to hang out, the Manhattan Supper Club. I had been going there just for fun and to watch my sister, Kim, play on the piano, and ended up getting a job there. Now i’m there all the time for work and for fun and I absolutely love it. I have the greatest co-workers and an absolutely gorgeous work environment with great food. My favorite part though, is that I can have my hot tea while my sister gets her alcoholic drinks. I’m not a fan of bars because there’s never anything good for me to drink there, especially when it’s cold, so I end up being a sad and thirsty designated driver.
Here’s a pic of the lounge/bar area, where I go to see all the music.
I have some game ideas that I’m going to start working on soon, I hope. Hopefully things will slow down a little and I can start getting work done again.

Some new jewelry
Filed under: Etsy; Tagged as: brooch, clubwear, earrings, etsy seller, gears, hardware, hex nuts, industrial, industrial jewelry, kieutiepie, pin, washers1 CommentI added these new earrings and brooch a while back, but never gave them a proper post. Since I haven’t been updating my blog as much lately, I figured now would be a good time to show off some of my new industrial jewelry. There is much more coming that I have not listed yet. I hope you like them!

“I thought love was about trying and fighting and holding on through good or bad but… love is about letting go too.” I just wrote that to my friend in chat. It’s sad, but sometimes it’s in that goodbye that you see that love is still there, even if you wish it wasn’t.
Friday Night at the Manhattan Supper Club, my sister played piano for the club on her birthday and brought some friends to also play and sing. They did a cover of Hallelujah that was… brilliant and amazing and has been in my head all day.
Anyone that knows me well enough may be surprised to hear that I sang along for a few songs. Kimmy’s friend was on piano for a while and wanted us to sing with him, so I actually did, even though I was around real singers. I may not be great, but I can at least sing on key I guess. Maybe.
